I left this part to The Dad, who spent months scouring the internet and social media looking for a fixer upper: he finally found one in Doncaster, that belonged to Stephen who works at Flat4Mania, Steve and Wayne were extremely helpful showing us around the car.
He found this one on Facebook market place, and contacted the seller to find out more.
The Dad and I went to see the beetle to see if it was what we expected.
We went to see the car one evening, I wouldn't recommend viewing a vehicle in the dark as you cant see it properly. The Dad had a long good look around the car to see what sort of condition it was in, he said it was ok and could have been a lot worse. We did the deal.
